Preppy American brand Tommy Hilfiger is set for a grand opening in Knightsbridge, London, when the doors open to their largest ever UK store in November. The 8,288-square-foot Brompton Road store, near to luxury department store Harrods, trumps their Westfield London and Regent Street stores in size, and will be the first to stock their men’s Tommy Hilfiger Tailored Collection in full.
Across two floors the new store will also stock men’s, women’s and children’s wear as well as Hilfiger Denim. Mr Tommy Hilfiger himself said: “As the birthplace of preppy style, England is very close to my heart. London — rich in culture, history and art — is the perfect location for us to anchor our largest U.K. store.”
However, a new store does not mean a new look for the classic American brand, who have announced the Brompton Road store will echo the decor of their flagship store on New York’s Fifth Avenue, with polished walnut fixtures and oak floors, with details such as antique furniture, vintage props and works of art dotted about the store.
Here’s a little peek at how it will look…
