Time Inc. invests in fashion search engine Snap Fashion

Media giant Time Inc. UK has announced an investment in Snap Fashion, a visual fashion search engine.

The publishing company, which already owns Marie Claire, InStyle and Look magazine, has made the move to “extend our relationship with fashion-loving audiences”, particularly targeting the “16- to 34-year-old audience as a key group for our growth”.

Snap Fashion allows shoppers to search for, browse and purchase fashion items that are similar to photos of other products found online, or taken by the user themselves, helping them to find pieces they love at affordable prices.

Despite the enthusiasm from both parties, the investment amount has not been disclosed.
