London department store Liberty have launched an exclusive range of scarf prints in conjunction with the World Land Trust, a conservation charity who’s top patron is Sir David Attenborough.

The range of five scarves were designed by final year textile students from the University of Southampton’s Winchester School of Art, who were asked to design a scarf which represents WLT projects in need of urgent awareness and funding.

Five designs out of two hundred entries were selected, representing a variety of causes including the endangered orang-utans in Borneo, the astounding clearing of rare species in Paraguay, the endangered Atlantic rainforest and the need to protect forests and animals.

Each scarf retails at £115 and go on sale today, with 15 per cent from each sale going towards chosen project areas.
