It’s been a whole year since Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot in the greatest Royal Wedding of recent times. Kate looked stunning in a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen ivory gown and William didn’t look too bad either in full military regalia.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been a busy pair representing Great Britain in all its glory at public appearances and charity events around the UK and across the pond.

For their first official engagement Kate and William visit Canada, heading to Calgary Zoo for a reception. Kate wears a red coat dress by Catherine Walker, accessorised with The Queen’s Canadian leaf brooch.
Looking as cool as can be, the happy couple sport matching cowboy hats for the Calgary Stampede Parade. Kate matches her white hat to her Alice by Temperley Armonia blouse.
During their tour of North America the pair attend a reception at the Consul-General’s residence in LA, where Kate stands out in a bold green Diane Von Furstenberg shift dress.
The pair later share a smile at the Sony Studios in California, where they helped box care packages for members of the Armed Services.
Back in the UK, Kate and William look sharp as they arrive on the red carpet for a BAFTA dinner. Kate wears a dazzling floor length Alexander McQueen gown.
Summertime hits and the pair put on their Sunday best for a trip to the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club, with Kate wearing a summery dress by one of her favourite designers, Jenny Packham.
In July the couple attend Prince William’s cousin Zara Phillips’ wedding to rugby player Mike Tindall. Kate wears a simple coat by Jane Troughton.
Kate went for military inspired Alexander McQueen when the Royal couple visited the Summerfield Community Centre in the heart of Winson Green, Birmingham – an area badly affected by the summer’s riots
Kate opts for an Amanda Wakeley dress and L.K. Bennett heels as the couple open the cancer ward at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Surrey.
It’s now October and the pair are pictured at a fundraising gala at Clarence House, organised by 100 Women in Hedge Funds.
The couple tour the UNICEF Emergency Supply Centre with the Prince and Princess of Denmark. Kate wears a rich red L.K. Bennett coat.
In November the Duke and Duchess attend the National Memorial Arboretum Appeal reception at St. James Place, with Kate in a another Jenny Packham gown.
It’s now December, and Kate (in a lace Zara dress) and William head to the Royal Albert Hall for a concert in honour of The Prince’s Trust.
The happy couple attend The Sun Military Awards with brother Prince Harry in tow. Kate wears a divine black velvet dress by Alexander McQueen.
Stepping out to Centrepoint, a South East London charity shelter, Kate wears a simple Ralph Lauren jersey dress, whilst William shows off some brilliant Dad dancing (we just couldn’t resist!).
As 2011 comes to an end, the Duke and Duchess join with the rest of their Royal family to attend a Christmas day church service in Norfolk. Kate wears a custom plum-coloured hat by Jane Corbett and L.K. Bennett heels.
The newly weds kick off 2012 with an appearance on the red carpet of the War Horse film première. Kate goes for floor length Temperley London whilst William opts for a dapper double breasted dinner suit.
On a rare day off the pair are spotted strolling on the beach in North Wales, both in Barbour jackets and Le Chameau wellington boots, along with the latest addition to their family – a black spaniel (cute or what!).
As the April showers hit, the Royal couple attend the première of African Cats at the BFI on London’s Southbank, with Kate looking stunning in a Matthew Williamson dress.
Last week the Royal couple visited Goldsmiths’ Hall in London to honour the Scott-Amundsen Centenary Race to the South Pole. Kate wears a chic blue ensemble by Rebecca Taylor.
And finally, the pair finish of the day with a reception at the Imperial War Museum, London. Kate wears a grey dress by Amanda Wakeley accessorised with an Alexander McQueen chain belt and Anya Hindmarch clutch.
