Natalie Massenet, founder of luxury online fashion retailer Net-a-Porter, has announced her resignation from the brand ahead of its merger with Italian shopping site Yoox.

Although Massenet was set to be chairman of the newly-combined company, she will now have no involvement after tendering her resignation on return from a holiday, according to Business of Fashion.

However, after selling her shares in Net-a-Porter, the fashion entrepreneur is said to be leaving with over £100m.
