Naomi Campbell has partnered with fashion brand Diesel to create a new collection for her charity Fashion For Relief.
The collection, named Child at Heart, includes a range of t-shirts and hoodies printed with designs created by children attending the Diesel HQ kindergarten in Italy, including a love heart and a ladybird. Part of the proceeds from the sales of items from the collection will be donated to Fashion For Relief.
Naomi Campbell said about the collaboration: “Fashion For Relief works in emergency situations in conjunction with other charities on the ground. This amazing and special project will provide much needed aid and support for refugee children.”
Renzo Rosso, president of the OTB group that owns Diesel, added: “Diesel always has, and always will, be a cultural commentator tackling relevant issues. The children of today are our future and Child at Heart is about helping the children in need and giving a hand to those who are left behind. More than ever, we want the world to know that love and togetherness are crucial in creating a society we all want to live in, and the future we all deserve.”
The campaign to advertise the collection features Campbell alongside Diesel creative director, Nicola Formichetti, and other famous names including Molly Blair, Barbara Palving, Kenya Kinski-Jones, Aaron De Niro, Neels Visser, Matt McMahon, Vito Basso, Riley Montana, and Wang Chen Ming. Everyone working on the project provided their services without a fee.
A charity event for Fashion For Relief in conjunction with Diesel is also planned for 21 May in Cannes.
Items from the Child at Heart collection will be available to buy online and from 145 Diesel stores worldwide, priced at £50 for the t-shirts and £100 for the hoodies.
