British designer Matthew Williamson has launched a line of low-key bridal dresses, after the success of his net-a-porter.com capsule wedding collection last year.
As more and more brides-to-be were choosing to wear his designs on their big day the progression from evening wear to bridal is said to have felt ‘natural’. His first capsule collection featured embellished boho style gowns, perfect for a summer beach wedding, whereas his new collection has a more glam feel.
Each dress is intricately detailed, like the above tulle cocktail dress that features individually hand-sewn feathers. Another is made of draping pure silk while one even features a hand-painted winter scene.
The launch date and prices are still unconfirmed, but one can only imagine how much a Williamson gown will cost for your big day…
