Prince William and his fiancée Kate Middleton have chosen the world-renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino to create their official engagement portraits.
The photographer, who has previously photographed the late Princess Diana, was commissioned to take the portraits a short while after the couple announced their engagement last month.
The portraits are expected to be publicised later in December, reported the Telegraph.
“Mario always strikes up a fantastic rapport with his sitters, so above all the photograph is likely to reflect the happiness, love and laughter that the couple clearly share,” said the newspaper’s fashion director, Hilary Alexander.
Testino is now a rumoured favourite to take the future King and his wife’s official wedding portraits on April 29th next year at London’s Westminster Abbey.
