Design Centre in London’s Chelsea Harbour is to play host to a Marilyn Monroe exhibition from the 25th May.

Put together in collaboration with Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills and entitled Marilyn Monroe: The Legacy of a Legend Exhibition, it will include never before seen personal treasures and original costumes and jewellery from films including Some Like it Hot, Niagara and No Business Like Show Business.

As well as looking at the glamorous public persona of the Hollywood star, this exhibition will also delve into more private matters, with items from the estate of Lee Strasberg including Marilyn’s journals and hand-written letters.

“Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour embraces and celebrates all creative expression,” said Managing Director Claire German, “so we’re delighted to present such a multi-dimensional exhibition to the public for the first time. We’re curating it in a truly immersive and innovative way, all to be revealed on the 25th May.”

Open from 10am to 7pm, every day, from Wednesday 25th May until Monday 20th June. Entrance is free.
