On the 19th and 20th March 2013, London will host the first ever Global Kids Fashion Week at the Freemason’s Hall. GKFW is in association with online style destination AlexandAlexa and in partnership with Kids Company, a children’s charity that will receive all ticket sale proceeds.
The event will showcase kid’s fashion from ages 2 to 12, and is set to feature two main shows. The show on Tuesday 19th will be an exclusive media event offering the latest Autumn/Winter 2013 trends, and a public show on Wednesday 20th showcasing key Spring/Summer 2013 looks rom the AlexandAlexa brand portfolio.
Alex Theophanous, founder and CEO of AlexandAlexa.com said of the event, “Kids’ fashion is playful, fun and innovative – we all believe it deserves its own dedicated platform. This is why we are so proud to be supporting the very first Global Kids Fashion Week.” The company aims to put children’s fashion on the map worldwide.
Brands getting involved in GKFW include Paul Smith Junior, Junior Gaultier, Chloé, Little Marc Jacobs, and many more. But the question is, who will be modelling the clothes? Will the fashionable Beckham kids be involved now they have returned to the UK?
