The London Marriott Hotel Regents Park has revealed its multi-million pound renovation, which has now been completed in the lobby, executive lounge, and event spaces, with bedroom refurbishments expected to be complete by September.
The hotel will have an additional seven rooms and updated fittings including 49” Apple TV-enabled smart TVs, international power outlets, and walk-in raindance showers. The interior design of the new spaces was inspired by the local surroundings and neighbouring parks and villages.
Four meeting rooms have been added to the layout of the original hotel building, with extensive renovation of the Primrose Hill meeting space to introduce more natural light and add modern technology such as an integrated sound and PA system and remote control projectors and screens.
The newly designed lobby is divided into zones providing spaces for relaxation and socializing, and a new Carluccio’s restaurant with bar and outside terrace has also opened on the lobby level.
General manager, Tony Owen, said: “We recognise that modern traveller needs are constantly changing and the new refurbishment ensures that our offering falls in line with these demands. A key growing consumer trend is wellness and, coupled with ever-evolving technology, it’s vital that we constantly deliver the best possible experience for our guests.”
