Harvey Nichols are honouring the late British designer Alexander McQueen by hosting some of his exclusive creations in their window displays, to celebrate the opening of the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The commemorative window displays feature key pieces from McQueen’s collections over the years, ranging from his first show in spring/summer 1999 to his last in 2010.

Janet Wardley, head of visual merchandising at Harvey Nichols expressed their joy at playing host to the creations, saying: “We have worked closely with Alexander McQueen in the past to feature some of their catwalk pieces in our windows, and are ecstatic to be doing so again.” The windows were unveiled yesterday and will remain until the end of the month.
