Lily Allen has signed with IMG Models for “worldwide representation” having previously modelled for Chanel and House of Holland, following the announcement that she’s been made the face of Vero Moda.
The 30-year-old singer has signed with the firm, who are ranked as the world’s number one international model management company, having previously modelled for Chanel and House of Holland.
A statement on IMG’s website reads: “Multi-platinum selling artist Lily Allen has signed with IMG Models for worldwide representation. Currently recording her fourth album, Lily has worked with multiple designers, brands and photographers, including Chanel, Rankin, Nick Knight, Simon Emmett, Angelo Pennetta, and David Vasilijevic.”
Lily – who returned to the music industry with the single ‘Hard Out Here’ in 2013 and the album ‘Sheezus’ in 2014 following a three year hiatus – is currently working on her fourth album and clearly has no plans to slow down.
The announcement continued: “Since emerging in 2004 with the iconic No 1 debut single ‘Smile’, Lily has gone on to sell more than five million albums worldwide. Her success in the UK quickly spread around the world and defined an entire genre of music, helping shift the musical axis toward young female artists.
“As Lily became Britain’s most fascinating pop star, her songwriting talents were recognised with several awards, including three Ivor Novello Awards in 2010.”
The news comes after Lily – who has daughters Ethel and Marnie with husband Sam Cooper – was announced as the new face of Danish clothing brand Vero Moda earlier this year.
