Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz is the creative force behind this year’s Claridge’s Christmas tree. The luxury London hotel has its iconic tree re-invented by a high-end designer each year, with John Galliano taking on the role for the past two years.
Claridges told WWD that Elbaz will create a “colourful and whimsical” tree, which will feature puppets wearing Claridge’s uniforms. Elbaz said that he wanted to “create an installation that carries the spirit of Lanvin, an infusion of tradition and modernity at the same time.”
The tree will be unveiled on 22nd November and will remain on display until 2nd January.
