Lady Gaga’s second ever Vogue cover has landed and boy are we excited. The eccentric singer appears on the cover of US Vogue’s coveted September issue wearing a sweet wrapper-esque dress by Marc Jacobs, which is relatively tame for the Mother Monster, with just an unruly lion’s mane of hair to finish the look.
What we love even more though is the way in which Gaga revealed the image, simply posting it on Twitter with the accompanying Tweet: “Sorry Anna but the underground kids deserve it”.
Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the issue is a complete Marc Jacobs fest, with Gaga appearing in the editorial wearing nothing but a huge, hot-pink feathered hat designed for the designer by British milliner Stephen Jones. With Grace Coddington to thank for the styling, we can’t wait to get our hands on the issue when it hits the newsstands.
