Kate Moss honours late British designer Alexander McQueen in Harper’s Bazaar’s May 2011 ‘Fashion Royalty’ issue by posing in beautiful McQueen gowns across two covers.

The supermodel, who is also named as fashion royalty in the issue, is pictured in a ruffled organza gown, which she wore as a hologram in McQueen’s autumn/winter 2006 show, and a white chiffon number designed by McQueen’s successor Sarah Burton.

Moss, who was a close friend of McQueen’s up until his death last year, recalls memories of the designer in an interview featured inside the issue. She said: “There’s never ever going to be anybody like him. His was the most exciting show to see ever, even if you weren’t there. I would hear about it on the phone and hear Lee and hear everyone. There was so much tension, but we had the best laughs. He was a dear friend of mine. I miss him terribly.”

The May 2011 issue is out next month.
