Kate Middleton is known for her dedication to fashion, mixing designer pieces with the best of the British high street, and is estimated to have already spent £35,000 on her royal wardrobe in 2012. But her sartorial needs are allegedly not catered for by husband Prince Williams’ £44,000 salary as an RAF helicopter pilot, instead, by father-in-law Prince Charles.
The Prince of Wales is said to be paying for Kate’s ‘work-related’ outfits through his official Household budget, which is funded by his Duchy of Cornwall estate. Charles will be opening up his finances for public airing this week, when the real cost of Kate’s shopping sprees are set to be revealed.
Do you think Charles should be paying Kate’s way in the fashion world?
