Kate Middleton has made her first public speech as the Duchess of Cambridge whilst wearing a blue Reiss dress borrowed from her mum – thrifty!
She greeted onlookers in Ipswich at the opening of a new facility for ill children and young people called The Treehouse, a hospice run by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) – a charity of which she is a patron. Speaking to a small crowd and cameras, Kate thanked the organisers, spoke about the inspirational work she’s seen from the charity, and, of course, apologised for husband William’s absence.
But all eyes were on her outfit as she arrived in an electric blue button front dress from Reiss – the same one her mum Carole wore to Royal Ascot in 2010. Her recycled outfit looked chic, paired with a thick black waist belt, simple black court shoes and a black box bag.
