Karl Lagerfeld is used to putting his foot in it (remember Adele-gate?), and he’s stepped firmly into controversial territory once again by admitting he doesn’t like Pippa Middleton’s face.
In this week’s issue of Grazia, the German designer talks to the magazine about his Olympic-inspired collection, which launched at Selfridges last week, but also took the chance to comment on the Middleton sisters.
“Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy. I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties,” he said. “On the other hand, her sister struggles. I don’t like the sister’s face. She should only show her back.” It’s lucky she’s been blessed with such an infamous rear then, isn’t it Karl?
