In the pursuit of creating and defining a complete uniform for today, JOSEPH are excited to announce the launch of a dedicated eyewear collection in partnership with EGO Eyewear.
Designed in Paris and produced in Italy, the new range embodies the sartorial codes of the brand’s ready-to-wear: masculine and feminine classics with a twist. And with existing offerings of fine leather goods and footwear, the former launched in December of 2017, the eyewear collection will complement JOSEPH’s growing focus on the accessories market.
Initial inspiration was taken from founder Joseph Ettedgui and his famous round lenses. He was never pictured without them. This iconic style, The Joe, has been remastered and lays the foundations for the entire collection.
A family of traditional shapes – including the soft cat eye, the aviator, and the oversized – are intelligently adapted in form and contrasting in colour to update them for now. Colour-dipped tips on the arms are signatures throughout. While remaining style names, such as The Westbourne, The Germain and The Madison, are dedicated to the international locations of JOSEPH’s retail portfolio.
The eyewear collection will launch on March 5th 2018 in all JOSEPH stores, brand concessions and fine optical retailers worldwide.
