Jigsaw is set to open its flagship store on Duke Street in Mayfair.
The brand has secured a 5,500-sq.ft. store at 57-63 Duke Street, the retail and leisure project owned by property developer Grosvenor.
The store will have two floors, occupying the ground floor and the basement, and will carry womenswear, menswear, beauty and lifestyle brands, as well as the full Jigsaw product offering including the Jigsaw Junior line, and an in-store café operated by Fernandez & Wells.
Jigsaw’s chief executive, Peter Ruis, said: “This exciting new store will be a radical departure, and begin the journey to re-define Jigsaw for the next decade. Following on from our heritage of unique retail design, it will be the first time our customer can access every element of the Jigsaw empire under one roof.”
Ruis added: “We are delighted to be working with Grosvenor and are looking forward to creating a unique and radical destination within the West End. Our intention is to deliver the “must-visit” store for both international and domestic style arbiters.”
The north of Mayfair is undergoing somewhat of a revamp, overseen by Grosvenor, who is advised by commercial real estate firm CBRE. CBRE associate director for central London retail Rebeca Guzman said: “This letting sets the tone for Duke Street to become a new contemporary fashion destination that will bring a new customer to Mayfair.”
We’re eager to see which fashion houses are sign up to neighbour Jigsaw in the coming months.
