Jeff Koons has worked together with Louis Vuitton to design a new line of bags and accessories featuring reproductions of artworks by the Old Masters.

The Masters collection features the most famous pieces of art by Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent Van Gogh, Titian, Peter Paul Rubens, and Jean-Honoré Fragonard, transposed onto iconic Louis Vuitton bags including the Speedy, the Keepall, and the Neverfull.

Each bag is emblazoned with the name of the artists in large metallic lettering and the iconic Louis Vuitton monogram has also been re-worked to include the initials of Koons as a second logo on items in the collection.

A leather tag in the shape of the inflatable rabbit that is one of Koon’s most famous works completes each bag.

The collection will be available in select Louis Vuitton stores from 28 April. Prices range from around £456 for a keychain to £3,122 for a large carryall bag. Further collections in collaboration with Koons are expected to be announced later in the year.
