Good things come to those who wait, and it seems we have been waiting for this for ever. Burberry has finally opened its Regent Street store. The revolutionary 44,000 square-foot haven is divided into different rooms which reflect the different areas of the website, and uses multimedia to support its online shopping experience. Burberry’s CEO Angela Ahrendts explained, “Burberry Regent Street brings our digital world to life in a physical space for the first time, where customers can experience every facet of the brand through immersive multimedia content exactly as they do online”.
The stunning Grade-II listed building on London’s premier shopping street is the brand’s largest London store and will house a big screen to stream the label’s fashion shows, as well a permanent stage where bands will perform one-off gigs.
