H&M has joined forces with London College of Fashion’s Centre for Sustainable Fashion to launch the first ever Fashion Recycling Week.
Under the initiative, students have been tasked with creating window installations using clothes donated through H&M’s garment collection service, drawing inspiration from Britain’s most stylish cities. Each piece will then be displayed in eight H&M stores across the UK & Ireland.
Across the week, giant garment collection boxes will also be placed in Covent Garden’s Piazza, allowing people to donate unwanted clothes towards to project.
Fashion Recycling Week runs from August 31 to September 6.
