Hello Kitty fans listen up – the super cute Japanese cat is about to land at Liberty of London, being featured amongst classic floral Liberty prints to celebrate the launch of the department store’s new spa and beauty hall. The white cartoon kitty will be used on a series of exclusive make-up bags and cases to celebrate the store’s latest revamp from 26th September.
Although no images of the actual products have been released yet, pictures of the limited edition Hello Kitty fabrics set to be used have hit the web. In one Hello kitty is placed amongst the 1933 blue, red and white floral pattern, and in the other from 1978 the cute cat is playing a series of instruments, immortalized in a vintage blue and white pattern.
Grazia has also reported more good news for cartoon fans – Liberty plan to expand to more Hello Kitty products, rolling out new styles each year and launching worldwide in 2012. For now, get your hands on the first few products out this September as they’ll only be available for a two week period.
We’d better start queuing now…
