British heritage brand Grenson has been making shoes on these shores for almost 150 years, and its collections include classic brogues, loafers and boots for both men and women.
From 15th October to 3rd November, the store will host (for the second time this year) the ‘Grenson Lab’ in London’s iconic department store Liberty. Shoe aficionados will find the ‘Lab’ in the men’s shoe department and will be able to choose their own shoe, colour and sole. Each pair will then be handmade in the Grenson UK factory. What’s more, customers have the option of having their name or a message inscribed in the lining. The bespoke process takes approximately eight weeks and will cost in the region of £380.
Creative Director and owner of Grenson Tim Little said of the event. “We first ran our lab back in April…and it was a huge success. People were coming in and getting pretty creative with their shoes, in fact the factory floor looked very colourful in May. Once again we are looking forward to see some of the exciting shoes that people will create”, he continued, “who knows, maybe one or two of them will end up in the collection!”
