American sportswear brand GANT have announced their new “Get Into Gear” capsule collection, designed for bicycle commuters, for Spring/Summer 2017.
The collection includes pieces specifically designed to be worn when commuting to the office that are both practical and stylish, made with technical fabrics.
A limited edition bicycle produced in collaboration with Swedish cycle company BIKEID is also part of the collection. The bike is designed for city commuting and includes features such as an iPhone mount and waterproof LED lights built into the seat post for increased visibility.
Co-founder of BIKEID Anders Dahlberg said about the collaboration: “We are proud to be a part of a commuter launch that solves a lot of the issues bicycle riders face everyday. Our production department have worked closely with GANT, and put a lot of effort into creating the perfect commuter bicycle.”
Key clothing pieces from the collection include a waterproof blazer with laser-cut ventilation and reflective details, a denim shirt made from soft stretch fabric designed for movability, and water repellent jeans with reflective details and a smart waistband pocket.
The collection is available to buy online from the GANT website and in stores from April and the limited edition bicycle will also be available to order from BIKEID’s website
