French Connection launches new activewear collection

French Connection’s new activewear line, FIT, launched on the 24th February and is available exclusively online and in selected pop-up stores in the London and Birmingham branches of Selfridges.

The collection contains pieces priced between £25 and £75 and has been designed for activities including yoga, running, spinning, and barre, in five different categories: Seamless, Core Comfort, Sweat, Super Soft, and Fit Accessories.

The clothing is designed from technical, breathable fabrics and includes items such as leggings, sports tops, zip-through shirts and a lightweight running jacket that packs down into a small pocket for portability.

The UK activewear market is expected to surpass £8 billion by 2019 and growth has been increasing steadily year on year since 2010, driven by the fashion ‘athleisure’ trend.
