Fortnum & Mason creates ‘Chotch Egg’ for Easter

London-based department store Fortnum & Mason has unveiled a novel new product for Easter – the first ever ‘Chotch Egg’.

Created by Executive Chef Sydney Aldridge, the new food stuff combines a free-range egg with venison and dark chocolate for a fresh take on the classic Scotch Egg, first made by the store 250 years ago.

The Chotch Egg is available for a limited time – from March 31 to April 6 – in the Fortnum & Mason Wine Bar and Lower Ground Floor Food Hall.
