200 fashion students from across the country are descending on Asda’s HQ tomorrow for a workshop with the team behind its clothing label George.
Designed to give the students a better understanding of the fashion industry and the journey and lifecycle of a garment, as well as advice on career development, the session – to be held at Asda’s Merchandising Centre of Excellence – has been devised in conjunction with Graduate Fashion Week and graduate network Arts Thread.
“Through its sponsorship of Graduate Fashion Week, George aims to provide greater support and guidance to young fashion students,” said George brand director Fiona Lambert of the workshop.
