Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has unveiled a shot from her third and final collection for fair trade retailer People Tree.
The 20-year-old appears in a draped black mini dress from the range, showing off her enviable figure and pixie crop haircut. The collection is said to be more mature than her previous efforts, consisting of jersey harem pants, sharp blazers and draped dresses, as well as girly gingham and polka dot tea dresses.
Talking about the collaboration, Emma said: “I designed the collection last year after I’d started university in the US. Safia, People Tree’s founder, and Misato, People Tree’s designer, came out to work with me in Rhode Island. Together we decided on all the colours, fabrics, shapes and craft skills. Most of all, we took care to design a really wearable collection that truly celebrates the traditional skills of People Tree’s fair trade groups around the world.”
She first teamed up with People Tree in February 2010 and the collection was well received. Her full spring/summer range will officially launch on 28th February to coincide with Fairtrade Fortnight.
