British tailoring label Duchamp London has been appointed the official suit partner of London football club Arsenal, providing custom tailoring to the team members and management for select appearances.
A new official Arsenal suit has been created under the partnership, crafted from a blend of Italian wool and mohair, and finished with a single button. Each piece is emblazoned with the team’s original crest, first seen at the club’s FA Cup final debut in 1927.
Current team forward Theo Walcott will see an exclusive gold thread added to his crest, marking 300 appearances for the club.
Arsenal’s first-team squad and manager Arsène Wenger will now wear the official suit for all home matches in the Barclay’s Premier League and UEFA Champions League, with a white cotton twill shirt, fine Merino wool sweater, silk red tie and leather shoes by Loake finishing their ensembles.
