After earning an estimated £20m over the past four years from the memorable Armani campaign, and increasing the brand’s sales by 30%, football star David Beckham is reportedly now keen to produce his own collection of men’s underwear.
It is said that the 35-year-old is seeking help from wife, designer and fellow underwear model,
Victoria Beckham, after the success of her various fashion ranges. The former spice girl launched her first collection in 2008 and has since gained critical acclaim in the fashion world with her designs being seen on a number of A-list celebrities.
Currently playing for US soccer team L.A. Galaxy, David is no stranger to the market having already endorsed his own brand fragrance, ‘Instinct’. The former England captain is said to have the full support of his manager, Simon Fuller and British fashion designer Stella McCartney’s husband, Alasdhair Willis.
