Converse has announced the first update of its Chuck Taylor shoe in 98 years. Launching a contemporary adaptation” of the classic style named the Chuck Taylor All Star II.
The new shoe has been developed to meet “the demands of creative lifestyles”, holding onto original features such at the rubber toe cap and All Star ankle branding, while incorporating new comfort-focused details such as Nike’s Lunarlon lining and padded heel support.
A range of smart colour options – black, white, red and navy – add to the premium feel of the new design, which is sure to be a hit with Converse fans across the globe.
Look out for the Chuck Taylor All Star II when it launches on July 28 at select retailers, starting at £55 for low tops and £60 for high tops.
