Not Just Another Store – a retail space curated by menswear brand MARR and online fashion retailer UTTER, has opened in Shoreditch.
The new store is designed as a community and ‘experiential’ retail space and offers a selection of products from over 30 emerging brands alongside live art from London artists and interactive digital games.
Collaborations with artists, photographers, and illustrators will see a number of in-store exhibitions, events, and installations in the coming months.
Shoppers will be able to browse the selection of menswear, womenswear, homewares, interiors, art, and books, and also have access to an in-store customisation service in which a team of designers will upcycle clothing brought in by the customer with tailoring and embroidery as well as making bespoke pieces from scratch.
UTTER was founded as an online retail platform in 2013 as a place to promote emerging contemporary fashion brands. The company has worked with more than 50 brands since launching and has run five pop up shops in LA, London, and Oakland. They also have a permanent store at BOXPARK Shoreditch.
MARR was started in 2012 by Marcel Robin and Alex Ruimy and is now a favourite of celebrities including Winnie Harlow, Rita Ora, Chris Brown, Kevin Hart and Hayley Baldwin, and is sold from retailers all over the world.
Not Just Another Store is now open at 189 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6HU, opposite the ACE hotel.
