American accessory brand Coach is set to open its first UK stand alone store tomorrow at Westfield shopping centre, West London.
The 3,000 square foot store will stock handbags, purses, totes, travel bags, shoes and men’s accessories and will have two entrances, one designed for each gender. As part of Coach’s European expansion they also plan to open another store on New Bond Street, in Mulberry’s former location this August.
Coach was founded in 1941 as a family-run workshop, when six artisans handcrafted a collection of leather goods using skills handed down from generation to generation. Discerning consumers soon began to seek out the quality and unique nature of Coach craftsmanship.
The store will join Westfield’s impressive array of designer stores, which already includes Burberry, Calvin Klein, Prada and Louis Vuitton. Coach opens on Friday 11th March.
