Christian Lacroix, the French brand which folded in 2009, is set to continue in the fashion world as a licensing operation, now focusing on Men’s accessories and home.
During Paris Fashion week the fashion house is set to unveil their debut men’s accessory range, specialising in bags. The brand is releasing them in line with an agreement with French firm Groupe TWC, who produce men’s and women’s leather goods, jewellery and watches. The bags start at 100 Euros for small leather goods or 800 Euros for a leather weekender.
Following this the brand will showcase their home range at the Maison & Objet trade fair, with the collection said to be a step towards producing a full furniture range. The products are made in line with English firm Designers Guild. Their first home collection will include fabrics retailing from 80 to 220 Euros a meter, with 10 different designs in a range of colors, along with cushions and rugs (pictured).
Lets hope things are a success for them this time around!
