The fifties are back people! Well, at least according to fashion house Dior, who looked to the era for couture inspiration.
Their very wearable collection was simple in design and shape, with fitted tops, free skirts and nipped in waists, creating a very feminine silhouette. Huge dresses with padded hips exaggerated the female form even more whilst creating a lot of signature Dior drama.
Colour kept things simple, sticking to black, white and red, with the occasional dash of nude and purple. And of course, floral patterns and ruffled layers made an appearance, giving a nod to former creative director John Galliano.
