If you, like us, spend far too many waking hours pouring over pictures of cute pups on the internet, then you are going to love the next snippet of news we have for you.

Some of the fashion industry’s biggest designers are set to design dog coats and accessories for Battersea Dogs Home’s Collar & Coats Gala Ball, taking place in early November.

Among the names taking part in the fund-raising event are home-grown talents Vivienne Westwood, Giles Deacon, Henry Holland, Matthew Williamson and Stella McCartney. On the night these creations will be showcased on a ‘dogwalk’ (see what they’ve done there?), lead by ambassador and supermodel David Gandy and esteemed fashion journalist Hilary Alexander. The canine clothes will then be auctioned off to raise money for the refuge.

Henry Holland said of the initiative, “I am extremely proud to support the dogwalk, I have always been a dog lover and this initiative is such a brilliant way to use fashion as a way of highlighting such a great cause.”
