Premium outerwear brand Canada Goose has announced the launch of its new knitwear collection, combining fashion and functionality in luxurious merino wool.

The range will use the brand’s thermal mapping system for down garments to ensure body warmth in the most essential areas. Different stitch patterns are used to regulate body temperature and increase comfort, warmth, and breathability.

Items in the collection are available in three variations: soft midweight, chunky knit heavyweight, and HyBridge knit combining down and merino wool.

The designs take inspiration from the brand’s classic parkas and have exaggerated zipper pulls and performance hoods.

All merino wool used in the collection is ethically sourced from Argentina, mulesed-free and can be traced throughout the entire supply chain.

Dani Reiss, President & CEO of Canada Goose said: “Knitwear is a natural next step for us and this collection showcases everything Canada Goose is known for – function, quality, craftsmanship, and making best-in-class products.”

Items in the knitwear range will retail for £195.00 – £495.00 and will be available from the company’s flagship stores in London, Toronto and New York, in selected department stores, and online from canadagoose.com
