For the Christopher Bailey drew inspiration from the Bloomsbury Group – a coterie of English writers, artists and intellectuals who gathered at the Bloomsbury home of Clive and Vanessa Bell, relations of Virginia Woolf.
When it came to ready-to-wear, this meant painterly whisper-weight dresses and brushstroke-patterned bags and shoes. For the ‘Bloomsbury Girl’ makeup, officially unveiled and available to buy this week, the brand describes the look as featuring “pigment tones and hand-painted effects in a colour palette of bottle green, elderberry and ink blue.”
We’ve got our eye on the Lip Glow in Nude Rose, Lip Velvet in Bright Poppy and Nail Polish in Elderberry – the latter was worn by models Suki, Cara, Jourdan and co. on the London catwalk. What’s on your beauty wish list?
