Burberry reveals sneak peek of first straight-to-consumer collection

Fashionistas will be delighted about Burberry’s move to make their collections immediately available to buy after catwalk shows. No more agonising waits for months on end before you can don their finest threads.

Today, Burberry shared a glimpse of its latest advertising campaign, revealing its latest ‘faces’, models Jean Campbell, Alex Dragulele and musician Cavan McCarthy of ‘Swim Deep’ fame. Shot by Mario Testino at the Art Walker Gallery in Liverpool, the campaign also features portraits of artisan and craftsmen, paying homage to those who contribute to making Burberry’s product.

The full campaign will be unveiled immediately after the collection was shown during London Fashion Week on 19 September at their new show venue – Makers House – located at 1 Manette Street in Soho.

We predict this will be one of the hottest tickets in town and for those not lucky enough to snag the all-important FROW, the venue is open to the public from 21-27 September.
