Burberry never fails to impress us here at LDNfashion, and Christopher Bailey has done it once again with his pre-fall 2011 collection.
It seems that Burberry Prorsum never run out of ways to reinterpret the classic trenchcoat we have all come to know and love so dearly. Every single season Bailey finds some embellishment, trim, or new fabric which leaves us feeling like the humble trench is in fact a completely new invention.
But of course, Burberry Prorsum is far more than a coat line.
Amongst the pre-fall offering are abstract printed dresses, gem-encrusted knits and what may just be the most perfect cut of trouser we’ve ever seen.
(The brand, more than aware of this, has made them available in several almost equally perfect colours)
A range of luxe fur-trimmed items, fitted jackets and accessories that will last for many seasons to come complete the collection. Even with this much to lust after, we’re still excited to see what they’ve done for Autumn/Winter 2011…
Burberry just has that effect on us.
