The Christmas tree designed by British brand Burberry for luxury London hotel Claridges has finally been revealed.

In a nod to the label’s historical association with the British weather, the label’s Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey has designed a tree made out of over 100 reflective gold and silver umbrellas. The six-metre-high structure is finished with 77,000 motion-reactive lights, which create an illusion of falling raindrops every time someone walks down the stairs.

Bailey’s predecessors include Alber Elbaz for Lanvin, John Galliano and Dolce & Gabbana, who have each designed a tree since the initiative started six years ago.
