Luxury fashion label Bottega Veneta, who are well known for their accessories and leather goods, are set to launch their first ever fragrance this September.
Few details have been released about the perfume venture, but French model and fashion icon Nine d’Urso (pictured) has been confirmed as the face of the fragrance. She’s set to star in the global campaign for the Italian brand, which will be photographed by Bruce Weber.
Fashion is said to be in Nine’s DNA, as her mother, Inès de la Fressange, was one of France’s top models in the 80s, as well as one of Karl Lagerfeld’s many muses.
Thomas Maier, Creative Director of Bottega Veneta, told WWD: “I chose Nine to introduce this fragrance because there is something classically elegant about her, yet she is totally modern. She conveys a sense of heritage worn lightly but with respect.”
We can’t wait to see the finished product – watch this space!
