Premium audio brand B&O Play has launched Earset – premium wireless earphones with state of the art audio technology, signature Bang & Olufsen sound, and a fresh look inspired by an original iconic design.

Earset is based on an earphones designed created by Anders Hermansen in the ‘90s that were created to be flexible enough to fit any ear. The adjustment system allows the wearer to modify the angle of the earbud, the height of the piston, and the curve of the earhook.

B&O PLAY Concept and Design Manager Jakob Kristoffersen said: “We are extremely proud of our design heritage, and the original Earset has been a long-lasting favourite due to their flexible, yet precise industrial design and acoustic brilliance. We are excited to bring forward the new Earset that has been updated with wireless technology and a classic updated hue and satin.”

Earset is crafted from premium materials including an aluminium telescopic piston, a soft earhook with sections of rubber, and a hex screw connecting the piston to the hook.

The construction of Earset is unique compared to most models on the market as it fits just inside the inner ear without blocking it. This is not only more comfortable but also allows ambient sounds to be heard while still maintaining premium audio performance.

Earset boasts up to five hours of battery life on a single charge and includes three buttons and built-in microphone to control music take calls, and activate Siri or Google on your smart phone via Bluetooth.

Earset is available in graphite brown or white, retailing at £269 from www.beoplay.com/earset, Bang & Olufsen stores and third-party retailers.
