Bletchley Park, the famous site where Brits cracked the Enigma code during World War Two, will open up its gates once again for a series of vintage hair and make-up workshops this year.

Kicking off in February, visitors can learn how to create some of the most iconic styles of the era – from victory rolls to the perfect classic red lip – all in an authentic and historical setting.

Led by vintage expert Sarah Dunn of Sarah’s Doo-Wop Dos, the day-long sessions will include background on social history of the time, covering the ingenious ways women groomed themselves on a wartime budget, accompanied by live demonstrations and practical tasks.
