Barbara Palvin fronts Amazon Fashion’s A/W 2016 campaign

Amazon Fashion has announced that Hungarian beauty and Instagram sensation Barbara Palvin is the face of its Autumn/Winter 2016 campaign.

Barbara will feature in print advertising and a social media campaign across Europe, and the items she wears for the campaign will be available to buy from from 29th September.

The campaign was shot at Amazon’s studio in London’s Shoreditch by photographer Cass Bird and i-D magazine’s Fashion Editor Julia Sarr-Jamois. Barbara models some of her favourite pieces of the Autumn/ Winter 2016 season, including a Filippa K leather A-line skirt, a ruffled Paul & Joe shirt, Gestuz knitted long-sleeved dress and Champion sweater dress.

“Barbara is a great advocate for our ‘Don’t look like me, look like you’ campaign,” explained Juliet Warkentin, Marketing Director of Amazon Fashion Europe, “she has lots of energy and a fresh style, that shines off the page and in our video.”

Of the Amazon Fashion slogan, Barbara said, “I think the meaning behind the campaign strapline is really important, and it’s about embracing being an individual and encouraging personal expression through fashion, so I am thrilled to be part of Amazon Fashion’s Autumn/Winter 16 campaign.”

The real Barbara Palvin Instagram page boasts almost 4 million followers and she is the face of L’Oreal. She has recently been linked to Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton.
