Its no secret that trainers have become the must-have shoe purchase of recent seasons – we spot covetable pairs every day on our London commute, and we know these aren’t styles that are getting swapped for heels upon arrival at the office.
ASOS is taking advantage of the trend tomorrow, when it will partner with Nike to celebrate the 27th birthday of the Air Max. The two brands are hosting a Google+ Hangout on Wednesday 26th, with freelance stylist Natasha Wray, ASOS Fashion Editor Zeba Lowe and MTV’s Rebecca Dudley. All three will be offering up advice on how to style the Air Max for work, all day and evening. Staff at ASOS HQ in London will also be getting involved by modelling archive Air Max styles around the office, to be captured on a ‘spy cam’.
The event is a world first, so to mark the occasion Google will be making the hangout shoppable, so sneaker addicts can get their hands on the styles that inspire them.
Check out ASOS’ social media channels on the day to find out more.
