Four months after collapsing into administration, British brand Aquascutum is planning to return to London’s West End. It is hoped the store will be back in business in Autumn 2013, and looking to locate near its old stomping ground around Bond Street and Regent Street.
The brand founded in 1851 is taking things back to its roots. UK chief executive Tim Dally commented to Retail Week: “The value of the Aquascutum brand is its heritage and we are exporting that heritage,” The brand has high street stores in Westfield, Canary Wharf and Windsor along with concessions in Selfridges, Harrods, House of Fraser and John Lewis.
We can’t wait to see the new store take it’s rightful place once more in our very own West End.
